Ensighten Tag Management Solution

This guide can help you deploy Snap Pixel in Ensighten’s Tag Management Solution. 

If you run into any issues, we recommend reaching out to your Ensighten representative, who can help troubleshoot any tag management specific issues. 

1. Log in to Ensighten.

2. From the landing page, click Tags.

3. Click Add Tag.

4. Search for Snapchat and click Snap Pixel (Snapchat).


5. Within the Configure vendor specific tag settings:

  • Enter Pixel ID, which can be found in Ads Manager.

  • Configure passing match data (hashed email or hashed phone number).

  • Pass at least one Event and pass relevant optional parameters. Details on possible events and parameters can be found here

6. Within Choose where and when your tag should fire:

  • Select appropriate conditions when the relevant tags should be fired.

  • We highly recommend passing PURCHASE with price and currency data to help return on advertiser spend (ROAS) reporting.

7. Verify implementation:

  • Use the Chrome Debugger to make sure pixel events are configured correctly.

  • Log in to Ads Manager.

  • Click the menu in the top corner and select Snap Pixel.

  • Verify traffic activity.

With all deployment options, it’s important to:

  • Ensure you’re passing user parameter data.

  • Firing at least 1 standard event.

  • Configuring appropriate optional parameters.

Callouts:

  • User parameter data can only be passed in the init call.

  • Passing PURCHASE event multiple times on the page (will affect ROAS reporting). 

  • Always pass price, currency, and transaction_id with PURCHASE events for accurate reporting.
