Organization Roles and Permissions

Depending on your role, you may have different levels of functionality and access to a business account. Members who are admins of an organization will be able to assign the following roles and permissions when inviting a member to their business.

  • Organization Admin: Has the ability to change business details and manage all of the ad accounts within that business. Also has the ability to add Agency Admins and Agency Members.

  • Agency Admin: Has similar access to an Organization Admin, but cannot change business details and can only add/manage Agency Members.

  • Business Admin: Can access full Business Manager capabilities (payment methods, roles, organization details), but doesn’t have access to individual ad accounts or catalogs unless explicitly granted.

  • Member: Has the ability to work within the ad account(s) they have been invited to that are a part of that business. A member's access will depend on what role they have been assigned within that specific ad account.

  • Data Admin: Has the ability to create and view reports for all ad accounts in the organization.

    • Please Note: In order to create and view reports, the Data Admin must also have data permissions for a specific ad account.
